Your
browser will need to be able to view flash animations to view this site.
The site is completely flash animated. This is some achievment and is very
well done. It is a large database which contains information on the ships
assigned to the group and the new races they have encountered. |
2) |
Read
the groups history and it explains the sims background and how it came
to be. It has brief summaries of the ships assigned to it and has links
to their individual web-sites. The site is not
fully
complete, but has made a good start. |
3) |
The
site has a extensive sim guidline section with details on
posting.
Also available is information on promotion, awards and duties. You are
taken through the steps of creating a bio for a character, dos and donts,
what alien races you can use, etc.. |

Star
Trek: Independence RPG |
URL: |
http://www.stisim.org |
Description: |
The
Dominion has fallen to the combined strength of the Kligons, Romulans,
and The Federation. All empires in the Alpha Quadrant had suffered much,
and lost nearly all. It is seen that peace between all species is coming
closer. However, the Romulans with their cloaked fleets see this weakened
state as an advantage. An advantage that must be exploited. With the might
of the Romulan fleets, an invasion begun against The Federation. A Federation
that was so off guard from this attack, that they could not repell it.
System, after system, after system had fallen to the Romulans with little
or no resistance. All the fleets of The Federation were called to Sector
001, The Earth, for a defence force to hopefully repell the Romulans. Admiral
Daniel Carter commanded the Earth Defence Force fleet, perparing for the
worse. When the battle for Earth finally took place, The Federation quickly
was outnumbered. Hundreds of any availible ships were lost before Admiral
Carter sounded the retreat. The Federation had fallen.
Admiral Carter and Admiral Thomas Paris united one fatefull day to discuss
the future of The Federation. This discussion quickly became an argument
of morals, bringing personal opinion and political influence into the equasion.
Admiral Paris was in favor of a new Federation, one that will be controled
by Starfleet. "A strong military will ensure the lasting peace of the universe.".
Admiral Carter thought that Admiral Paris was commiting treason to the
Federation. After more argument Admiral Paris beamed back to his ship and
begun an attack against Admiral Carter's vessel. Thus began the CIVIL WAR
within the remaining Federation. A civil war tearing apart the renmants
between the Federationalists and the Militarists.
Choose your side Captain and prepare to Boldy Go... |
