Description: The website is designed for simmers on the USS Falcon RPG site but is also free for use by anyone else. The Falcon is part of Gamma Fleet and her mission is, with the end of the Dominion War, to begin once again to explore the galaxy.
Comments:
1) I liked the banner on the main page, really eye-catching. The
design is easy going on the eye. Most of the navigation is text based, which allows fast loading of pages. The ship tour is very details, no doubt the owner has put allow of effort into the site.
2) The has the usual sections you'd expect on a Star Trek sim site, crew manifest, ship images and specx, logs and awards. But it has a few unique features, among thes are the message board, a details information library ( a good resource for simmers) and a link to F.A.S.T (Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team)

Comments:
1) An interesting concept for a sim, 'UFP Battle Groups'. The index page is very well designed and immediately shows the visitor what the site is all about, like a mission statement if you will. The lcars menu design is well laid out and easy to follow. Character promotion withing the sims is based on a points scheme.
2) The site contains a brief sim history, explaining how the UFP created Battle Groups was formed. As you would expect  from a sim site, it has its oen set of guidlines for role playing, a listing of the Starfleet General Orders, not too many sites have these.
3) I thought the site was well laid out. It has a good combination of test and images, helping pages to load quickly. The color scheme is pleasing to the eye. There is quite an abundance of information here, pertaining to the sim group. The group also have theri own rank images and new design of uniforms.

Title: Deep Space 14
URL: http://www.gone-to.com/ds14
Description: Sitting on the edge of the of the portal between the Alpha Quadrant and the Gamma Quadrant sits Deep Space 14. Situated on the planet Altor II, Deep Space 14 is the first stable Federation base in the Gamma Quadrant. Her mission is to server as a center of operations of Task Force 9 of Starfleet's Fourth Fleet, better known as Bravo Fleet. Are you ready for the Adventure of a lifetime?
Comments:
1) Consistant design throughtout the site. The interactive lcars menu is perfect, a great use of java applets and shoes how it should be done. As usual you have sim guidlines and the rank strusture explained. The sim is based on a planet, which is quite rare in Star Trek sims.
2) A planet-side starbase - interesting. I liked the design, the menu system is very well done. Plently of information here, images of the base, orbital facilities and the vessels assigned to it.

Title: STAR TREK:FURY
URL: http://www.geocities.com/kendric2000
Description: The USS Fury is a modified Intrepid class vessel, newly commissioned as an exploratory and defensive vessel. Its mission is to patrol the border regions left in chaos by the recent Dominion war. Armed with the latest weaponry and defensive systems the Fury has been assigned to bring peace back to the region.
Comments:
1) I like seeing custom graphics on a site, its give a personal touch to the design. The animated turbo-lift opening onto the bridge is very nice. The graphics are well designed and really add to the site as a whole.
2) The lcars style menu is jam-packed with goodies and tidbits. You have the usual links to crew rosters, ship specs, mission archives, but other links link uniforms, departmental duties and a database of ships and aliens from the DOZ (Dominion Occupation Zone)
3) You might want to check out the support staff links at the bottom of the crew manifest page, you might recognise some of the faces. The is a cool selecton of maps too, quite detailed.

Title: USS Epsilon
URL: http://uss-epsilon.tripod.com
Description: The USS Epsilon is an RPG in the UFED Organization coming close
to starting its second year!
Comments:
1) The compact LCARS console gives the site a more organised feel. The colors all match well and the menu is easy to navigate. As you would expect from a sim site, it has a detailed set of sim guidlines, rank listing with images and up-to-date starfleet uniforms. Details akira class images and specifications are also
present.
2) The graphics were well designed. They look as they really belong
to the USS Epsilon. The image loaded is a great idea as the site
is image intensive. Getting all the graphics loaded from the start, make navigation through the site fast and efficent
3) Some display pics were a little off when viewed under netscape. It
did not effect the site, as the menus and sections were easily
accessable. the site has a crew manifest section, listing not only active characters, but also NPC's (non-player-characters). Easy to follow guidelines, nice ranks and unifrm pics too.

Title: USS Amazon Homepage
URL: http://www.treksims.com
Description: A six year old Star Trek sim, still running strong. We are dedicated to the fun of roleplaying in the final frontier!
Comments:
1) This site caters for all browsers with text based and enhanced
versions of the web-site. Regularly updated with mission news
and site changes. The site offers a web-site award and has a detailed sim infor section explaining how to sim on the Amazon.
2) Nice colourful lcars design throughout. All sections are available at the click of a mouse. Nice selection of images of the Akira class refit, the USS Amazon. Sections include: Crew roster, Ship specs and a detailed ship history. Interesting features are the bookstore and members-only area.
3) The lcars layout is easy to follow. Two menus, on the left is the sim menu (crew roster, specs, join, history) and on the right is the trek menu (academy, starships, treknology, bookstore). It has an impressive database of Trek ships with specs and images. Detailed Trek information section - 'Treknologhy'.

Title: USS Endeavour
URL: http://www.theendeavour.com/
Description: A site dedicated to the USS Endeavour play-by-email roleplaying game. Dedicated to quality and excellence.
Comments:
1) Liked the index page, its informative and gives the visitor an idea of what is to come. They even have a arm patch. The crew manifest even has pictures of the crew (some of them you might recognise) It makes the sim more life-like, not many sims now have that feature.
2) Nice easy to follow design, interactive menu, good combination of images and text throughout. This help page load time. Cool feature is the Crew quarters, which contains submissions from the Endeavor crew. There the usual specs. page, ship history, department listing. Also preent on the site is a Gallery and Encyclopedia section.
3) Check out the Logbook with mission submissions made by the
endeavour crew. Detailed department descriptions, the arm patch is a nice touch. There's a section for crew awards and commendations too. The creative side of the Endeavor crew comes to life in the Poetry section.

URL: http://www.btinternet.com/~rod.heeley/ussvictory
Description: The website of Star Trek: USS Victory Play-By-Email Role Playing Game. For more information contact Capt. Andrew Heeley - ussvictory@btinternet.com
Comments:
1) Impressive 3-D looking Lcars design. This interactive menu is easy to use and can take you to every part o the site. As is usual for a sim site, it has a crew manifest section, open positions, uniform images, rank images and a sim guide.
2) The site is well organised and works well with the LCARS design. Ship history and specs are also available. Detailed department description are a must for the budding young simmer.
3) It has allot of imformation for a sim site. Allot of design work wne into the LCASR interface and it does look extremely well with the text. The crew manifest is very structured, with departmental breakdowns. The site also has a link section with links to many Trek related sites.

Title: Uss Resistance/Uss Nemisis
URL: http://www.geocities.com/ussresistance
Description: Home of the Uss Resistance and Uss Nemisis PBEM SIMS. BE sure to visit our Borg Penguins on the Resistance half of the site!
Comments:
1) This site has 2 sims, each of which are quite interesting. A federation ship manned by borg....what a concept. The resistence section of the site has a borg feal about it, well design. Its got the usual sim rules, roster, ship sepcs and history. Ever seen Borg Penguins...neither had I till a visted this site.
2) The Nemisis on the other had, leds more to the starfleet side.
Both sims are interlinked, the nemisis is tasked with finding the resistance. Bright menus are very clear and consise. The site is easy to navigate and contans what you would expect from a sim web-site (rules, roster, specs, etc.)
3) Both sections are quite different in design and I liked the
designs of both. The Specs on the Nova and Prometheus class ships were quite detailed and also contains quite a few images too. Allot of thought went into the concepts for these sims and
I believe that it has paid off.

Title: Star Trek: Shadows of the Dominion
URL: http://startrekpbem.cjb.net
Description: RPG Fleet organisation, open to all ships who wish to join, with services, assistance and information for members.
Comments:
1) The LCARS design is easy to use and consistent throughout the
web-site. There are plenty of graphics incorporated into the overall
design and these add an extra level to the overall site. This group has an academy, good database on ships and departments.
2) As is common with Sim Group sites, they offer an FAQ, their sim
rules and ship listing. The site has links to its sim sites along
with command listings. The academy has a number of lessons that help improve simmers in their overall posting.
3) The database has sections on science, medical, tactical etc. Not
to mention starship classification and a technical database. The
LCARS menu is quick and easy to navigate.
